Inspired by Munch

This was an experimental lino cut for an NSPCC brief. The task was to create a campaign to highlight child abuse in Britain. I ended up using Punch & Judy to tell a story though a series of posters. The lino cuts were too creepy partly because they'd been inspired by Edvard Munch's The Scream. Must have been in a dark place when I came up with this!

Discovery

Just found this coloured pencil drawing I did years and years ago. I think I must have been about 15! It's a bit yellowed round the edges. I never did get round to framing it.

My Very First Prints

When I started college my first project was to design a calendar. The theme was "Anatomical" and I decided to produce prints about tribes. I've not found all of them yet but these were the result of my first experiments with printing.

Open Mic Poster

My partner and I used to run an acoustic session at a local pub. Happy days...! I decided to have a go at a poster using watercolour pencils.

Child Migrants Trust

This movie has been created as a viral for the Child Migrants Trust; a UK charity that reunites people who were sent abroad to institutions when they were children. Please watch the movie for more info.

Moo!

Illustration experiments promoting fresh food/healthy eating.

Current TV

This was a competition brief to create a sting for the Current TV channel and web site. I discovered part way through that I was too old to enter it, doh! Still I had good fun :)

Please view on my project blog

Modern Day Coat of Arms

The project was to create a coat of arms for someone you previously didn't know. Interviewing someone can be very tricky! It started off quite stilted but then I got loads of information like one side of his family were from India the other from Africa, he'd stopped smoking, liked helping people and "oh, I'm a colour blind graphic artist. Can you do something with that?" Err...yeah! So in a nutshell, all the images in this montage meant something to him and he liked it :)

Screen Print

One of my finest hours as far as screen printing is concerned :)

I made this print for a San Miguel beer project set by Chris Moss DDA, London. I used for a web site and poster campaign (that I can't find at the moment).
